Feeding and Oral Motor Skills in Young Children
Feeding and oral motor skills are essential for the healthy development of a child.
Some children may encounter difficulty chewing, drinking or speaking clearly which is not typical of general patterns of development. This may result in frustrations/tantrums, refusals and may delay progress. Hence, it is important that educators or parents learn to recognise and seek additional support from a speech therapist.
This talk focuses on early intervention for children aged 6 months to 4 years.
